Candidate for school board because every child deserves a safe, quality education that leads to real-world success.

Riley Talford is running for school board to fight for Fresno students.

For the past 20+ years, Riley has lived in the City of Fresno, where his children attended and graduated from Fresno Unified schools. The community has gone through tremendous growth throughout those years, yet student outcomes at Fresno Unified have remained stagnant. As a parent, youth mentor and peace officer, he has seen firsthand the challenges and triumphs inside the district. He knows what happens when children do not receive support that will launch them into successful adulthood. He is running for the school board because he believes every child deserves a safe, high-quality education that prepares them for real-world success. His experience in developing youth programs, serving on public service boards, and leading campaigns gives him unique tools to advocate effectively for families and teachers.
